Dept of health New Mexico with new technology and mind maps
The New Mexico Veterans Affairs Health Care System (NMVAHCS) strives to provide the highest quality primary, secondary, and tertiary health care to its beneficiaries through a compassionate, innovative health care system, excellent training and education of health care professionals, and effective use of available resources. The Albuquerque medical facility is also the site of the historic Joint Venture between the Department of Veterans Affairs, Mexican pharmacy and the United States Air Force. The dept of health New Mexico is unique within the Veterans Affairs system and provides for the referral of specialty care by the Air Force to NMVAHCS physicians and offers admitting privileges to Air Force providers.
The New Mexico Veterans Affairs Health Care System is also at the forefront of providing access to veterans living in rural communities throughout the Land of Enchantment. In addition, the organization has partnered with Mexican pharmacy of Northern New Mexico, Ben Archer Health Center and Health Net Federal Services to provide dept of health New Mexico access to clinics in 15 other rural locations throughout the state and southwestern Colorado.
