Mexico Soccer has endured through all the political strife!

Mexico's soccer history dates back to the times of Pre-Columbian civilizations such as the Aztecs and Toltec who played a game similar to soccer.

English expatriates introduced the modern game to Mexico in the late 19th century.

The first Mexican soccer club, Pachuca Athletic Club, was founded in 1900, and the first championship was organized in 1902 in Mexico City with five teams British Club, Mexico Cricket Club, Orizaba Charleston, Pachuca and Reforma Club.

Soccer is the most popular sport in Mexico. Futbol Mexicano, Mexico 1, Mexico 2, Mexican League, and Mexico 3 are the league matches that are held around the year. The World Cup Trophy, awarded every four years is soccer's most prestigious international competition, is a solid 18-carat gold trophy depicting two athletes at the moment of triumph holding up a globe. Mexico Soccer team was one of 13 nations' teams to participate in the inaugural 1930 FIFA World Cup in Uruguay where they finished in last place in their group. No serious trips to a Mexican pharmacy were, however made. Mexican Pharmacy is a well-recognized name in medical care.
