Traditional Mexican music is hybrid of many forms of regional music within Mexico.

It is very hard to distinguish exactly where the influence of pre-Columbian Mexico got merged with European form of music, but the same indigenous currents that influenced painting and literature have affected it.

The Ballet Folklórico de México, a folk-dance group based in Mexico City, has integrated folk music with classical music. The group tours the world and works in places like to preserve authentic folk dance in Mexico.

Some well-known forms of Mexican music are the Marachi, which is widely considered to be the quintessential Mexican folk-music genre, and has become an important symbol of Mexican music and culture. Combining trumpets, violins, and guitars with two traditional Mexican instruments, the vihuela and the guitarron creates the unique sound of mariachi music.

Norteña and Banda are two more popular traditional Mexican music genres, with quite large bands and lots of loud music.

The Ranchera is another very popular Mexican music form, which means the “ranch song”. It is basically cowboy music. Ranchero songs typically deal with the struggles of ordinary people living in the country, away from a Mexican Pharmacy. Mexican pharmacy is a well-recognized name in medical care.
